GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 334482
gnucash crashed on exit w/o save
Last modified: 2018-06-29 20:59:35 UTC
Steps to reproduce: 1. open gnucash and do a little editing I entered a couple of transactions. I was noodling around editing splits to demonstrate another bug I've seen. 2. Click X in upper right corner to close gnucash. 3. gnucash prompts to save and I select Close w/o saving. 4. gnucash crashes. Stack trace: [swavrek@sky local]$ gnucash ** ERROR **: file Account.c: line 277 (xaccFreeAccount): assertion failed: (acc->splits == NULL) aborting... "/usr/local/bin/gnucash": not in executable format: File format not recognized warning: The current VSYSCALL page code requires an existing execuitable. Use "add-symbol-file-from-memory" to load the VSYSCALL page by hand Variable "acc" is not available. Variable "acc" is not available. Variable "slist" is not available. Other information: I had this happen twice now. Each time, I restarted gnucash in gdb to catch a stack trace and the program closed normally. So, all I've got is what I've pasted above.
