Last modified: 2006-08-14 08:02:39 UTC
Steps to reproduce: Evolution 2.4.0-3.4 on Suse 10 64 bit on a Dell Optiplex GX 520 crashes when I try to edit my Exchange account. It works fine on a Suse 10 32 bit system on Dell Optiplex GX 240. Same accounts, different results. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Have an Exchange account 2. Start Evolution on a 64 bit Suse 10 system 3. Edit -> Preferences and try to edit your Exchange account Stack trace: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/opt/gnome/bin/evolution' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/tls/libthread_db.so.1". Other information:
Hi, thanks for the detailed information. The beginning of the stacktrace looks like bug 331635 which will be fixed in Evolution 2.6.0 (which will be released in four days). :-/
*** Bug 334767 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Setting probabledup keyword. Dale, it would be great if you could check if this bug indeed is fixed in Evo 2.6.0. See bug 331635.
this should be a duplicate of bug 331635
Verified on 64 bit machine with evolution 2.6.2, could not reproduce this bug. What was edited in Exchange account in 'Edit ->PReferences. Duplicate reports says click on Edit ->Preferences, select account then lick on 'Edit', evolution crashes, this is not reproducible at all. W.Dale.Houstan: Could you verify w.r.t evo 2.6.2 ?
Works in 2.6.0 on the same 64 bit system.
Marking as 'Resolved Obsolete' based on Comment #6.
