Description Ryan 2006-03-10 07:14:57 UTC
Please describe the problem:
My DAAP share shows up on the left side. But when I click to access it I get:
Cannot login to DAAP share. Failed to Login.

I know the share works fine, as rhythmbox picks it up fine.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Banshee
2. Click on my DAAP share
3.

Actual results:
Failure to login into DAAP message box

Expected results:
Access to my DAAP share

Does this happen every time?
Yes

What software are you using for the daap server?
Comment 2 Ryan 2006-03-10 20:57:36 UTC
I am using mt-daap (0.2.3 I believe). I just noticed there is a newer version with some fixes for the newer itunes. I will try an update to mt-daap when I get home and see if it helps.
Comment 3 James Willcox 2006-03-10 21:00:30 UTC
Ok, are you running mt-daapd on any strange hardware? Like a NSLU2 or something? There is a known issue there....
Comment 4 Ryan 2006-03-10 21:32:57 UTC
No its just an old p600 running Debian
Comment 5 James Willcox 2006-03-11 00:20:36 UTC
Hmm, crap. Ok maybe there is something going on in daap-sharp then, I'll install mt-daapd again and try.
Comment 6 James Willcox 2006-03-11 00:26:29 UTC
Ok, I've reproduced it with mt-daapd 0.2.4...
Comment 7 James Willcox 2006-03-11 01:20:03 UTC
This appears to be a bug in mt-daapd. I've added a workaround to daap-sharp, and updated the sources in banshee. Closing as FIXED.
Comment 8 James Willcox 2006-03-11 01:44:12 UTC
I've also submitted a patch to the mt-daapd dudes which fixes the bug there.
