Description Marcelo H. Terres 2006-03-08 15:09:33 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I apply the profile to the existing users and their profiles doesn't change.
I need to delete the .gconf directory, so when the user logged again, the "new"
profile was applied.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a profile in Sabayon
2. Apply the profile to an existing user
3. Logout and login with user and the profile doesn't change
4. Remove the .gconf directory from the user
5. Login again and the "new" profile will be applied.

Actual results:
The described problem occurs.

Expected results:
I expect that the new profile merge with the existing one, or, at least, the new
profile be applied for the user.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
I'm running Ubuntu Breezy.

I have no problem to apply a profil on a fresh user but it doesn't work when a profil was alread applied before.
So i mark this bug as a dup of bug 356478.
If you still have a problem with fresh users feel free to reopen.
