Description Luke Hutchison 2006-03-08 14:57:49 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 4 (Rawhide)
Package: Evolution
Severity: critical
Version: GNOME2.13.92 2.5.x
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: Crash making appointment recurring
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Calendar
Bugzilla-Version: 2.5.x
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.13.90)
Description:

Description of the crash:
I tried changing an appointment, adding an alarm and making it recur
weekly. Evo crashed with a wierd stacktrace. I tried again and got a
better stacktrace the second time, see below. Reproducible 2/2 times so
far.

Debugging Information:

Backtrace was generated from '/usr/libexec/evolution-data-server-1.6'

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1".
`shared object read from target memory' has disappeared; keeping its
symbols.

changing product to evolution-data-server
Comment 2 Luke Hutchison 2006-03-15 19:37:44 UTC
OK, so now it doesn't crash but it locks up. This started happening in Evo-2.5.90 but is also present in Evo-2.6.

The stacktrace is different but related:

(gdb) thread apply all bt

Hmm, seems fixed in latest FC5-development RPMs.
