Using Gimp 2.2.10 on Windows XP SP2 current with updates. Opening a psd file, cutting, creating a new image with the size of the cut part and pasting crashes Gimp.

It turns out that the issue is not restricted to psd files. I tried saving them to xcfs, but it still crashes. Sometimes it crashes right after opening a blank image, before doing a paste.
