Description Petr Tomasek 2006-03-07 08:27:16 UTC
Please describe the problem:
dead_belowdot doesn't work in the gtk default input method.

Steps to reproduce:
1. In X, select us international keymap
2. press <AltGr>+<Shift>+"=" (i.e. <AltGr>+"+") and then type one of the
letters: h, s, d, z v, b, n, m (in some gtk input-widget like GtkTextView).
Composing doesn't work here.
3. now select the X input method and: voìla!

Actual results:

Expected results:
gtk default input method should behave like the XIM

The update in gtkimcontextsimple.c solves this issue, allowing both compose key sequences and sequence with dead_belowdot to work for these characters.
