------- Bug created by bug-buddy at 2006-03-07 02:57 ------- Bugreport had an attachment. This cannot be imported to Bugzilla. Contact bugmaster@gnome.org if you are willing to write a patch for this. Unknown version 2.12.2 in product sound-juicer. Setting version to "2.12.x".
This is a gnome-media bug. I'm also 90% sure it's been fixed, and I thought Breezy had the fix... is this an up-to-date breezy including the updates?
Yes, my install was completely up-to-date when the crash occured. Note that this only happened once, after it crashed I repeated the steps and everything functioned fine. Also, my computer is a Centrino that is affected by the "intel-hda" bug/problem, I'm not sure if that would have any effect.
Similar backtrace on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/sound-juicer/+bug/46291 with dapper
on dapper: "gnome-media-profiles-ERROR **: file audio-profiles-edit.c: line 962 (new_profile_response_callback): assertion failed: (new_profile != NULL) aborting... Program received signal SIGABRT, Aborted.

to make it clear: i filled yesterday the latest duplicate of this bug (sorry.. bgo should make it easier to search for a stacktrace), and it happened with fully up to date ubuntu 6.06. (SJ 2.14.4). so it's definitely still present.

last duplicate has version 2.14, adjusting
Ross says it's no more in HEAD (#316855): I released 2.16.0, please test. If still there, reopen, adjust VERSION and I will check more into the code.
Cannot reproduce with cvs HEAD (sound-juicer 2.15.5.1)
Closing for now, I'll reopen if somebody still gets the issue with the new version
