Description damon 2006-02-23 18:27:38 UTC
In gnucash 1.8.x, when a .xac file was saved with multiple tabs open in the main window (say, the accounts list plus some reports), gnucash would remember which tab was open when the file was saved. In 1.9.x, this is no longer the case, so if i save a file with the accounts tab focused, but with a report or two also open, the next time i open that file it loads the tabs one by one and ends with the focus on the final report.

It was nice in 1.8.x to have some reports open that you reference on a regular basis, without them grabbing focus the next time you loaded the file.

Note - it would also be nice to have focus go back to the last-focused tab, when closing a tab. For instance:

TAB 1: account list
TAB 2: report
TAB 3: register i am working on

Right now, if i close tab 3, focus always goes back to tab 2, even though i'd been looking at tab 1 before opening the register. Gnucash 1.8.x would have returned focus to tab 1.
