GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 332325
When dock width == 256, palette editor initial display is wrong.
Last modified: 2006-02-27 16:15:23 UTC
It may also depend on having a palette with many colors (256) as default. On initial startup, with a paletteeditor dockable 256 pixels wide, the palette editor displays a narrow vertical slice of the display it should normally have. This slice appears in the center of the area that the palette editor display would normally fill. Altering zoom level normalizes the display (everything is as it should be after that.).
Sounds familiar but I thought this was fixed already.
Looks like this is just another manifestation of the GTKNotebook bug; It only happens if the palette editor is not the initially-visible dockable in the dock it's in. I would close this, but none of the resolutions seem remotely right.
huh? I didn't say to close it! Reopening.
Resolving as a duplicate of "the GTKNotebook bug" would be appropriate.
