Create a recurring meeting in caldav calendar.
Selected a single instance of recurring meeting, right click and select this occurence.

That particular occurnec doesnt get deleted.

I don't think this is specific to Caldav. I am seeing a behaviour very similar to this with recurring appointments in a local calendar that I imported from an iCal file.
