Sorry I forgot to clarify that this is about the desktop icon aligment when files are created. The problem lies in the fact that we have to move them anyway, because we cannot read the icon label. That is what I am referring to as "vertical alignment lines", it seems the icon is aligned to the first one on the left by default.
