Description Martin Jürgens 2006-02-10 19:09:03 UTC
Please describe the problem:
After adding a ftp bookmark in Nautilus (not anonymous!) and opening a program
that uses the Nautilus file chooser (i.e. File Roller -> Extract) it asks for
the ftp password several times. Entering the right password does not solve this.

I'd suggest only to ask for the password when the user clicks on the bookmark in
the file chooser dialog.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Nautilus
2. Click on Go -> Location...
3. Type in ftp://USER@HOST.com (the ftp server is not allowed to allow anonymous
access)
4. Press Enter
5. Type in your password
5b. Click on Bookmarks -> Add Bookmark
6. Logout
7. Login
8. Open an archive with file roller (opening with Totem works, too)
9. Press extract

Actual results:
A promt appears that wants my ftp password. When I type it in the promt does not
disappear, though.

Expected results:
I would except not to see the promt.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
I was able to reproduce it in Ubuntu Breezy and Dapper.
