Details

Description Andreas Leitner 2006-02-10 11:46:03 UTC
I am using the debian package version 1.99.1-20060209-02 on an ubuntu breezy system. They were installed by apt-get using the following two sources:

deb http://snapshots.gnomemeeting.net/ubuntu/ breezy main
deb http://snapshots.voxgratia.org/ubuntu/ breezy main

How to reproduce the bug: I start ekiag-snapshot, and the application starts up without showing the first-use druid. This is because I have it already configured and ekiga-config-tool-snapshot doesn't seem to be wanting to clear out my preferences. Anyway, I start the druid by hand move forward to the page 5/10 (NAT Type) and click on "Detect NAT Type". This makes the application freeze. Neither druid nor main app window are beeing redrawn if some parts of it are invalidated anymore. Below you will find the output of "ekiga-snapshot -d 3" when doing the above:

aleitner@se-pc31:/$ ekiga-snapshot -d 3

I have some doubts. Can you provide a backtrace?
Thank you.

(gdb ekiga
run
ctrl-c when it hangs
threads apply all bt)

Thanks for the quick response! Btw, I should also say that ekiga generally rocks! (;

I have created an attachment (id=59070) that shows you the corresponding backtrace. I hope that helps!
Comment 4 Damien Sandras 2006-02-10 13:36:32 UTC
If you disable accessibility in GTK and Bonobo, it will work. It seems to be a bug of the accessibility framework.

Marking it as a DUP of #329454 which is the same bug.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 329454 ***
