I can't reproduce this with the latest Evolution on Mandriva Linux 2007. Vic, can you confirm this bug has been fixed?
Comment 5 Victor Osadci (Vic) 2007-01-25 19:41:51 UTC
Yes, it still happens for me with 2.8.1, Ubuntu Edgy.
Comment 6 Sankar P 2007-02-09 10:40:27 UTC
Is your gnome-keyring-daemon running ? Also, I want to know if you get any password dialogs.
Comment 7 Victor Osadci (Vic) 2007-03-27 17:51:45 UTC
I still see this with evolution 2.10.0-0ubuntu1.
gnome-keyring-daemon is running, and I don't get any password dialogues.
Comment 8 Milan Crha 2007-08-02 09:00:39 UTC
After some observations, I could reproduce it. For me, it's not related with a default account, I could do this even on non-default account, but it depends on an account type. For a local spool account it works just fine, but for IMAP account, it crashes, sometimes with 'glibc detected double freed memory', sometimes because other issue. I think, it depends on a speed of enable/disable clicking too, if I disable account during its loading time (or if the account is active/does something), then it will crash with bug buddy, but otherwise it will crash on double freed memory and freeze (no bug buddy for me).

It seems to me that it depends on the opening component too, somehow. If I start evo with mail component, then it will crash, but if I start with calendar component, then it will not crash, either I call Edit->Preferences from calendar view, or even I activate mail component and be slow enough, then it survive. It seems to me it's related with a folder tree, somehow.

Does any dev have any idea? I would like to help with this, you know. :)

Comment 10 Kandepu Prasad 2008-08-06 10:38:16 UTC
I tried to reproduce this with the latest Evolution stable 2.22.3.1 and some how I could not even though I tried many times. Is this reproducible to anyone still and if so could provide fresh traces with latest stable? TIA.
Comment 11 Victor Osadci (Vic) 2008-08-06 12:15:12 UTC
