GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 330132
CD icon is missing from CD/DVD creator menu entry, also from program itself
Last modified: 2006-07-06 17:33:47 UTC
This bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/products/gnome-menus/+bug/30568 "Steps to reproduce: 1. Login as user 2. Choose top panel, "System", check out CD/DVD creator and Audio Disc entries for menu, which both lacks icons. GNOME: 2.13.90 Ubuntu: 6.04 Dapper drake Such situation appeared after last update(s)." nautilus-cd-burner uses gnome-dev-cdrom as icon
and gnome-volume-properties uses gnome-dev-cdrom, too. gnome-dev-cdrom links to drive-cdrom in tango-icon-theme(icon-naming-utils).
So what icons are actually being used by these menu items? AFAICT, they work, as the links are specified in icon-naming-utils. This makes me think the bug is in Ubuntu.
$ find gnome -name "gnome-dev-cdrom*" gnome/16x16/devices/gnome-dev-cdrom-audio.png gnome/24x24/devices/gnome-dev-cdrom-audio.png gnome/48x48/devices/gnome-dev-cdrom-audio.png That's on a gnome-icon-theme 2.13.7 installation. What version do you use? The tarball has no drive-cdrom
I've created a unique app icon for nautilus-cd-burner btw, see bug #346226
Resolving this as a dup. The icon is now in nautilus-cd-burner, as nautilus-cd-burner. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 346226 ***
