This works in Evolution 2.4. Regression, upping Priority.

Johnny, which Component is this? Or is this reproducible for all of 'em? NEEDINFO.
Comment 2 Johnny Jacob 2006-02-07 03:48:53 UTC
"alt + c" for clear works when evolution is opened for the first time, but if the component is changed the functionality is lost. Bug can be reproduced in all components.
Comment 3 Johnny Jacob 2006-02-07 06:52:27 UTC
same is observed for "alt + f" for the find_now button.
1. Enter a search term in the search bar
2. change to another component. enter a search term in the search bar.
3. press "alt+f". teh focus shifts to some hidden place.
Comment 4 Johnny Jacob 2006-02-09 05:25:30 UTC
The focus shifts to the widgets in other pages (hidden place == widgets in other pages)
These issues can be because of http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=122912. But it has been already fixed in gtk. Bugs 329577, 329578, 329579, 329582 has the same reason.
Comment 5 Johnny Jacob 2006-07-05 12:15:18 UTC
Obsolete. No more 'clear'/'find now' button from 2.7.3 .
