Description Yaron Tausky 2006-02-02 21:22:37 UTC
I entered my course schedule for this semester in Evolution at the beginning of the semester. Back then I didn't really remember when was the semester supposed to end, so I set everything to recur every week, forever. A few days ago, however, I tried to change the recurrence from 'forever' to 'until' <some date> in one of the recent occurrences, and selected to apply it to all other occurrences when the dialogue asked me. The results were catastrophic: the recurrence lasted until a completely different date, and while trying to fix everything I ended up with my calendar FUBAR.

This is not the first time I experience this bug, but this time it resulted in a rather awful data loss...

hi yaron, which exact evolution version are you running?
...and why did you file this under e-d-s and not under evolution? :-)
Comment 2 Yaron Tausky 2006-02-09 23:16:51 UTC
I'm running Evolution 2.4.2.1, e-d-s 1.4.2.1 on Gentoo (with sane CFLAGS, don't worry ;-). I thought this kind of problems lurks in e-d-s, so I figured I'd save everyone's time by filing it there. However, since it seems I was wrong... Well, sorry. :-)

This has been fixed cvs HEAD. Would be available in evolution-2.6.
