Click on 'alarm' button in appointment editor.
Select 'cutomize', specify some time and message.
Save appointment.
Reopen appointment, click on 'alarm' button and observe that customized alarm notification is missing.

I'm also hitting this bug on my system. (evolution 2.6.1 under gnome 2.14.1, Fedora Core 5 with all updates applied via yum). The behavior I'm seeing is exactly as reported here. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336475 appears to be a dup of this bug as well.

This has been fixed now in both trunk and stable (2.6.x) branch. Resolving the bug as fixed.
