GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 329487
yelp isn't properly reloading/reopening documents
Last modified: 2018-05-22 12:39:52 UTC
Some of the errors yelp produces for bad markup seem sticky. Example: 1. open the fish panel manual, fish.xml 2. open the user guide. 3. close the fish window 4. in the fish.xml file, try adding a link: <ulink type=“help” url=“ghelp://user-guide?gosbasic-2”>text</ulink> (this is taken from the gdp-handbook) 5. reload the fish helpfile: you get an error 6. undo the edit to fish.xml 7. reload the fish helpfile again: same error 8. close the fish window. load the fish.xml file from nautilus again. Get the same error. It's only by closing all yelp windows that I can get the restored fish.xml file to load again.
Reloading should be much improved in the new paging system. Marking as a dependant.
