Description Gabriel Gunderson 2006-01-28 20:54:59 UTC
Please describe the problem:
If you are dragging a large icon (such as a thumbnail of a PDF) into the trash
or a folder, you get no feedback letting you know that you are over your target.
With a smaller icon you can see the trash can get a little darker as you hover
your trash over it.

Steps to reproduce:
Drag a large item into the trash.

Actual results:
The trash can is hidden.

Expected results:
Somehow see if I'm placing it in the folder or trash can.

Does this happen every time?
With lager icons - Yes.

Other information:
Possible solutions might be:
  1) Feedback given through the icon being dragged and not the container being
dragged into.
  2) Make the icon being dragged transparent so you can see the trashcan change
states.
  3) Shrink large icons to a smaller standard size when dragging.

  4) Take better aim as a user ;)
