GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 328872
Crash removing font from system
Last modified: 2006-01-29 02:43:22 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 4 (Rawhide) Package: pango Severity: major Version: GNOME2.13.5 1.11.x Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc Synopsis: Crash removing font from system Bugzilla-Product: pango Bugzilla-Component: general Bugzilla-Version: 1.11.x BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.13.2) Description: Description of the crash: I had gnome-font-properties running with the font selection dialog open when I removed a font from the system. I was trying to see if the font list would get repopulated automatically on add/remove of fonts, or if I needed to close and reopen the dialog. I clicked on the font that was removed, and got this crash in Pango. Maybe not a serious bug, and not Pango's fault? Nevertheless, probably shouldn't crash. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-font-properties' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1". (no debugging symbols found) `shared object read from target memory' has disappeared; keeping its symbols. (no debugging symbols found) [Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled] [New Thread -1208600384 (LWP 12942)] 0x00c4b402 in __kernel_vsyscall ()
