Description Giacomo Perale 2006-01-25 19:49:39 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. create an rtf document with '&' in its filename, for example "try & this.rtf"
2. open from nautilus the file (make sure that .rtf files are opened by default
with openoffice)
3. gnome-panel crashes and keep crashing unless you delete ~/.recently-used

Stack trace:

Other information:
in console there is this message (sorry, localized): ** (gnome-panel:6341):
WARNING **: Error in parse: Errore alla riga 4: Il carattere '%' non è valido
all'inizio di un nome di entità: il carattere '&' dà inizio ad un'entità; se
questo simbolo "e commerciale" non vuole essere l'inizio di una entità,
ricorrere a &

the crash doesn't occur when .rtf files are associated to, for example, gedit. I
could not check if this behaviour occurs with .sxw, .odX or other openoffice
documents.
