Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2006-01-25 19:23:29 UTC
Please describe the problem:
You cannot move an appointment by dragging it in another cell. You have to use
the appointment properties dialog, which is a very slow way of moving a large
number of appointments. As a student, I sometimes have to move ~10
deadlines/appointments/exams at once, and dealing with the file properties
dialog feels like an overkill.

could this be looked into for gnome 2.22?
I mean, I think the code is aleady there, since it works in the work week view. From my (non developper) point of view, isn't it just pretty much a matter of using a similar function in month view?

A nice one to fix for GNOME3.
Comment 8 Massimo B. 2017-06-07 07:40:30 UTC
Copying (duplicating) and moving (re-scheduling) appointments by drag and drop is an important feature in calendars.
Tracking the "Move" feature here, while tracking the "Copy" feature in bug 783348.
Comment 9 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2021-01-05 04:24:59 UTC
I have now refiled this in the new bug tracker at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/1306

Hoping that someone will eventually stumble upon it and contribute a pull request for it...
