Cheerio, I did a downgrade to older gthumb 2.6.5 and discovered that the folder it is trying to open doesn't exist (/home/tarmo/pics/christmas-holiday). I had renamed it. With older version it just gave an error without crashing. I then changed back to newer version and gthumb starts fine because it's opening a folder which exists. The bug is actually that the gthumb 2.7.2 crashes on startup if the folder which it is trying to read doesn't exist. I hope this helps... - Tarmo
