i just deleted the database and imported all my music again. I'm using the 0.10 gstreamer backend. Now all the songs imported (mp3 and ogg) have Unknonw in the year column.

This is a duplicate of bug #328241, it has been fixed in the CVS version of gst-plugins-good (and in rhythmbox itself) and targeted for gst-plugins-good 0.10.2.

Marking as duplicate. As Alex said, this will be fixed if you are using current cvs versions of Rhythmbox and gst-plugins-good (or 0.9.3 and 0.10.2 when they are released).
