Description søren hauberg 2006-01-21 21:12:38 UTC
If you open a CD/DVD writer in nautilus it will show (at least it does on ubuntu
dapper) a blue bar with a button saying "Write to Disc". I like this, and we all
know that an idea that works in one situation also works in all other situations :-)

More specificaly I would like a similar button in the trash window saying "Empty
Trash".
Another usage of such a button would be if a folder contains more than (say) 80
percent images a button saying "Show as Slide show" that launches eog cpuld appear.

Other information:
I know this is brainfarting, but that's good sometimes...

Isn't this a duplicate of bug 352204 ?
Comment 2 Cosimo Cecchi 2008-03-22 12:14:53 UTC
Yes it is, Nautilus 2.20.x (at least) has this feature.
For the "slideshow" part of it, I think there's another enhancement request somewhere in Bugzilla, so I'm closing this bug as a duplicate. Thanks, please feel free to report any other bugs you find.
