Description Fabio Bonelli 2006-01-19 10:24:14 UTC
1. killall -11 gnome-panel
2. Press "Restart application" in the gnome_segv dialog
3. Watch a "I've detected a panel already running, and will now exit" dialog. Click ok and watch it again. And again.

The dialog doesn't disappear, you have to remove gnome-panel from the session, kill it, and restart it. This is not feasible for an average user.

Maybe the right fix would be to tell gnome_segv to not restart programs that will be already restarted by the session.
