Description Idan Gazit 2006-01-19 07:30:43 UTC
For example, I have an artist in my database, "Télépopmusik". Typing this name
without accented characters ("Telepopmusik") doesn't return tracks by this artist.

Why I think this is a good idea: for anybody not using a dead-keys layout and/or
not speaking an accented latin language, figuring out how to type the accented
characters is a pain. A search for the unaccented characters should be able to
find the accented ones as well.

Moving to the User Interface component.

Fixed, thanks to Marin's excellent fuzzy searching/culture aware patch (bug #333893)
