GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 327415
Panel crashed
Last modified: 2006-01-19 19:57:33 UTC
Distribution: Ubuntu 5.10 (breezy) Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.12.1 2.12.x Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu Synopsis: Panel crashed Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel Bugzilla-Version: 2.12.x BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.12.0) Description: Description of the crash: gnome-panel crashed. This occurred immediately after I removed a program with apt-get, so perhaps it has something to do with the menus being remade. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. install 3dchess 2. run /usr/games/3dc and realize that this was not at all what you had in mind 3. run 'apt-get --purge remove 3dchess' Expected Results: Continuity of gnome-panel. How often does this happen? This is the first time. Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-panel' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1". (no debugging symbols found) `system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols.
