Distribution: Ubuntu 5.10 (breezy)
Package: nautilus
Severity: Normal

Synopsis: nautilus does NOT show backup files.

Description:
Description of Problem:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a backup file with ~ extension in its name.
2. Turn hidden and backup files show in nautilus options.
3. Look in nautilus window for the file.

Actual Results:

Nautilus does not show any backup files even if requesting it to do so
in the config.

Expected Results:

nautilus should show the backup files. i.e. new.c~.

How often does this happen?

This happens all the time and gicmo also has the same behaviours.
