Description Poornima 2006-01-13 05:59:43 UTC
Goto contact view.
Select 'Frequent contacts'. then execute 'New ->Contact'
By default contact is created in 'Personal' local contact addresbook.

Expected result: Contact should be created in 'Frequent Contact'
Comment 1 Sushma Rai 2006-01-16 10:12:30 UTC
New contact from menu, sets the default contact in the editor, in the "where"
field and creates the contact there.
Only when you right click on the book and try to create a contact
it creates in the selected book.

But for the consistency sake (as in calendar), we can look at creating the
contact in the selected book.

I am one-hundred-percent-absolutely-sure I did see this before. Can't find it though... *sigh*
Comment 6 Karsten Bräckelmann 2006-02-15 20:17:32 UTC
Oh, and yes -- I do agree with Poornima and Sushma. The Contact Editor should default to the selected Address Book. :)

"sources" needs to be unrefed. Apart for that, it looks good.
Also this change needs to be documented in user doc for 2.6.
