The tooltip is always oriented to the right of the cursor. Move the Evolution window towards the right side of the screen so the event is placed somewhere near the right edge. Now place the tooltip over it. You observe the text on the tooltip  gets cut-off at the edge. Instead it should use the space to the left of the cursor and try to show the full text.
