1. Start Baobab
2. Change to root, unselect all mounted folders
3. After that, restarting program also crashes.

You are not reporting your baobab version.
Anyway this bug has been fixed in v. 2.2.1
Current stable version of Baobab is 2.3.0
Please update to latest version: http://www.gnome.org/projects/baobab
