Description Sebastien Bacher 2006-01-07 18:43:14 UTC
This bug has been described here: http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=18556

"Hi!

It seems to me that there aren't an option to customize the length of pauses
between songs. This option is really needed!

Case 1: Maris is conductor of a choir. One of his duties is to listen to the
recordings of other choirs. Unfortunately to get the emotional message of some
pieces he has to push the pause button manually. Otherwise the next song starts
too early."

The second half of the original bug report is missing:

"Case 2: In albums like "Dark side of the Moon" where some songs are blended
together (one very long song divided in multiple mp3's) those silent pauses in
the middle of the song can drive one crazy. And there is no way to disable them."

This is really the more important aspect of this IMHO. Even sturdy old XMMS manages to trivially handle such albums; why can't Rhythmbox?
