Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2006-01-06 05:13:06 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Currently, there is no other way to move files between overlapping windows than
dragging the file onto the window list applet and wait for the other window to
activate.

Please allow the alt-tab (window switching) shortcut to work while we are
dragging items such as files. That way, sending them to parent folders would be
much quicker.

Steps to reproduce:
1. open two windows, with one overlapping the other
2. start dragging a file from the top window
3. press alt tab

Actual results:
Nothing happens: you cannot switch windows while dragging an item

Expected results:
The window switcher appears and let me choose the window below so I can drop the
item into it.

Does this happen every time?
Yes
