Description Reinout van Schouwen 2006-01-03 13:44:41 UTC
For blank pages the Print and Send to menu items are useless. It would make sense to disable them.

I'm not really sure it would be worth doing this. Besides, in other apps like a text editor stuff isn't disabled when the page is blank.
Comment 2 Reinout van Schouwen 2006-01-11 15:22:17 UTC
Well, if you compare about:blank with gedit's (admittedly not very document-oriented) "no files open" mode, then you see that gedit does disable most of the items in the File menu.
Comment 3 spark 2006-01-11 15:53:43 UTC
Sure but if you click new to create a blank document the menu items get enabled:) Like you say, in ephy, you can't have "no documents open".
Comment 4 Reinout van Schouwen 2006-01-29 00:22:19 UTC
For all practical purposes, about:blank *is* "no document".
Comment 5 Christian Persch 2006-02-15 22:19:03 UTC
Easy to do with tab->priv->is_blank, but not sure it's worth it.

Maybe I want to print a blank page :P.

Mmm, so shall we "fix" this?
Comment 8 Christian Persch 2007-07-25 10:57:04 UTC
Not worth it, I think.
