Description Brian Kerrick Nickel 2006-01-02 22:28:03 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I use Nautilus and GEdit to work on files at school through SSH. Unfortunately,
the connections timeout after a short while of inactivity. Any attempt to access
the ssh connection (selecting a file, dropping a file, saving a file, etc) makes
the application hang up, requiring it to be killed.

Steps to reproduce:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

Other information:
The best program I've used with these bad connections is Macromedia Dreamweaver.
It tries to process the command, waits maybe 10 seconds for any feedback from
the server, then reconnects if nothing happens.
