Description Ron Bouchard 2006-01-02 16:53:29 UTC
Please describe the problem:
After adding the modem monitor to a panel and rebooting the machine, there are
now two instances of the applet side by side. (Removing one from the panel
causes the crash.)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Add a single instance of the Modem Monitor applet to a panel.
2. Restart the machine.
3. There will now be two instances of the Modem Monitor side by side.
4. (Remove one of them from the panel will cause both to crash.)

Actual results:
There are now two instances of the Modem Monitor side by side.

Expected results:
There should only be the one instance of the applet that was present at the time
of shutdown.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

This is very minor. The work around is simple, and the applet is very nice and useful in spite of this little thing.

This bug is older than the dup, but the dup has a stack trace.
