1. Run GIMP, open image
2. Select "New Rect Select"
3. Set checkbox "Aspect"
4. Select some part of image
5. Try to change Aspect with arrows near "Aspect" entry.

Already fixed in CVS HEAD, marking as duplicate even though bug #322396 was not exactly the same - the correction fixed all these.
