Description Christopher Lee 2005-12-16 00:43:59 UTC
Distribution: Ubuntu 6.04 (dapper)
Package: nautilus
Severity: Normal
Version: GNOME2.13.3 2.13.x
Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu
Synopsis: Crash overwriting file via copy from sftp:// location
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: File and Folder Operations
Bugzilla-Version: 2.13.x
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.13.0)
Description:
Description of the crash:

I tried to overwrite a zip file by copying a file with the same name
from a nautilus window of a directory 'sftp://lee@<computer>/<dir>'.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Open remote directory window with 'ctl-l' then
'sftp://<name>@<computer>/<dir>'
2. Drag a file to a destination (local) folder containing a file with
the same name.
3. A pop-up window asks for confirmation of the overwriting. I press
the button to tell it to overwrite the file.

Expected Results:

Nautilus copies file

Actual result:

Nautilus crashes.

How often does this happen?

Twice in a row (for same file and directories -- have not tried
others).

Additional Information:

Gnome nautilus 2.13.3, Ubuntu Dapper
