Description James Moger 2005-12-13 15:16:41 UTC
GNOME 2.13 is getting better at handling files through gnome-vfs. I have an SMB
network which I can nicely navigate via Nautilus, but I can't view
HTML/XML/other associated files with Epiphany from SMB shares. To be fair
Firefox also fails with the same error (sorry - didn't jot it down and don't
have access to my Linux box at the moment). But Epiphany is the GNOME browser
and as such should support GNOME-VFS integration (like you do with other GNOME
aspects).

Christian, do you know in which version of Mozilla the gnome-vfs plugin was added? You mention it in:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=143862#c5

It's in since 1.7b.

There are 2 ways to fix this: save locally and use gnome-vfs-xfer to upload, or extend gnome-vfs mozilla extension to support uploading itself.
