Please describe the problem:
If a file which is included by <MergeFile> is a broken symbolic link the menu
isn't shown.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Add
<Menu>
 <Name>Sample</Name>
 <MergeFile>sample.menu</MergeFile>
</Menu>
to the /etc/xdg/menus/applications.menu
2. Create a broken symbolic link
/etc/xdg/menus/sample.menu
3. Try to open the Applications menu

Actual results:
The applications menu isn't opened

Expected results:
The applications menu should open

Does this happen every time?
