Description Joachim Noreiko 2005-12-10 15:52:37 UTC
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu 5.10

When another application saves the file currently selected in Nautilus, it loses
the selection.
For example, open a file ~/foo.txt in Gedit, then select it in Nautilus, and
then make changes in Gedit and save it. The file is no longer selected.
This happens in both list and icon view.

Thanks for your bug
Comment 2 Benjamin Mack 2006-08-02 07:58:33 UTC
Still happens with 2.15.2 and is 100% reproducable.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2011-08-18 20:33:21 UTC
I cannot reproduce this anymore in unstable 3.1.4, both in List and Icon view. Focus remains on previously chosen file. Closing as OBSOLETE but please reopen if this is still an issue for you in 3.0.
