GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 322912
Gnome apps want access to all dav shortcuts
Last modified: 2005-12-26 11:42:39 UTC
Distribution/Version: Fedora core devel It seems that when you add a dav shortcut, every single gnome app you launch afterwards will try to access is. Since the dav share is password-protected, that means a gnome-password-manager popup whenever you launch a new app (even worse the popup does not tell you why the app is suddenly requesting access to the password store), and won't accept "no" for a legit answer A shortcut should only be accessed on-demand, systematic loading is very user-unfriendly
At least sound-juicer and gthumb are affected nautilus-2.13.2-1
