GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 322902
mulitiload-applet-2 crashes on panel drag
Last modified: 2010-01-24 01:07:30 UTC
Distribution: Debian testing/unstable Package: gnome-applets Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.10.2 0 Gnome-Distributor: Debian Synopsis: mulitiload-applet-2 crashes on panel drag Bugzilla-Product: gnome-applets Bugzilla-Component: multiload Bugzilla-Version: 0 BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.10.1) Description: Description of the crash: mulitiload-applet-2 crashes on panel drag from one screen to another. I have a two screen setup, and the gnome-panel does not remember the last position it was placed (kde does!). Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Every time I drag the gnome-panel with the multiload-applet-2 in it, this applet crashes when the panel reaches the next screen. 2. This pops up the an error window saying that the applet crashed, but the mouse cursor is left in the "drag state", makng it useless. 3. I have to go to one of the terminals and kill the gnome-panel. everything, execpt the multiload applet then comes back in their new position. If I then add a new multiload-applet-2, the crashed one also appears... Expected Results: mulitload-applet-2 crash + mouse cursor freezes in drag state! How often does this happen? Happens every time! Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/libexec/multiload-applet-2' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
