Description Jorn Baayen 2005-11-29 13:32:37 UTC
Using the new edge resistence work I am unable to puzzle out how to move a
window partially offscreen. Throwing it agaist the edge with all "force"
possible doesnt move it offscreen, tenderly nudging it against the edge doesnt,
humping it against the edge doesnt, but Sometimes I still manage to get it
offscreen. What is the secret ?

( I used to have windows partially offscreen all the time, and I find the new
"difficulties" very frustrating.. I cannot temporarily move a window out of the
way anywore if I quickly want to read something from the window behind, for
example )

Wait for > 0.75 seconds after the edge touches the screen before letting go of
the mouse button. See http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106740#c39 and
