Last modified: 2006-01-30 06:56:20 UTC
Distribution: Ubuntu 5.10 (breezy) Package: Evolution Priority: Normal Version: GNOME2.12.1 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu Synopsis: Evolution often hangs while fetching mail and now crashed Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Mailer Bugzilla-Version: unspecified BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.12.0) Description: Description of the crash: When Evo fetches e-mails at startup it often hangs and doesn't seem to receive any mail. Usually it helps to interrupt the process and restart it. This time evo crashed. Very annyoing. I don't know what the hanging or crashing depends on. Steps: Have "fetch at startup" enabled and start evo" How often does this happen? Hanging almost everytime, crashing only once so far Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1". (no debugging symbols found) `system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols. ok, this seems to be resolved. I don't what caused it to stop but apparently it doesn't happen anymore. I don't know how to change the status of bug, so it would be very kind if someone else would do it and drop me a quick line. Max Hoffmann
