Description Guilherme de Siqueira Pastore 2005-11-23 13:39:23 UTC
Distribution/Version: Debian GNU/kFreeBSD

kfreebsd-gnu is a port that uses the FreeBSD kernel with the GNU libc. Much work
has been done on Debian to release Debian GNU/kFreeBSD, but the porters are
still struggling to get through the considerable amounts of software which are
not ready for it.

The Debian porters stumbled on a failure in gnome-applets when recompiling the
whole distribution, and submitted a patch, which affects the build stuff and
cpufreq-applet, as can be seen on http://bugs.debian.org/320962. I'm also
attaching the patch here for convenience. It's been tested, and works gracefully.

If it's OK, just tell me and I'll happily commit this to the CVS. =)

Thanks!

Comment 2 Guilherme de Siqueira Pastore 2005-11-23 13:42:35 UTC
Raising severity and priority, as this blocks use and development on
kfreebsd-gnu, and is quite simple to fix anyway.
Comment 3 Danielle Madeley 2005-11-23 16:01:46 UTC
Since these are only build fixes, and you seem to have tested them on the target
platform, I think they can be committed to HEAD and gnome-2-12.

Thanks.

Done, thanks!
