It would much easier to distinguish meeting invitations from regular emails if
the icon in the mailer was a calendar instead of of a open/closed envelope.  

Other information:
For Exchange meeting invitations, I see the following header which could be used
to distinguish emails from meeting invitations:

Content-class: urn:content-classes:calendarmessage
